This above link is a question and answer about intramurals given by the Johnson Center. They offer many different sports for a very affordable price on the "college budget." For example, golf is 23$ to join and every other sport is 20$. It is a great thing that the Johnson Center offers because it can help incoming freshman meet new friends. Also, most college students did some sort of activity in high school. I played basketball, volleyball, and tennis and I miss all of them. Most students miss the activities they played so students can play the sport or activity they that they used to play for competition, for fun in college! Also, they have different levels of competitiveness for those hard core athletes. Or they have a less competitive league for the people that just want to play the sport to get some exercise while having fun. Also, you can sign up your own team if you want to get a group of your buddies to play some sports. It's free to sign up but depending on the sport you pay for it as a team so this way it will be cheaper. Most students that have done intramurals say that it is the best thing that the Johnson Center has to offer because they don't have to "let go" of their high school glory days of playing sports.
